Prof. univ. dr. Adriana Băban
Professor of Health Psychology, Behavioral Medicine & Psychosomatic, and Qualitative Research Methods. Her research interests include health behaviours, abuse and trauma, vaccination, screening, reproductive health, quality of care and patient’ satisfaction. She has published more than 160 papers, books, chapters in international and national journals. She is the coordinator of Health Psychology Research Lab, and has been director and researcher for more than 40 international and national research grants on the health topics. In 2014 she was awarded with the title of Fellow of European Society of Health Psychology for outstadning contributions to the development of health psychology in Europe.

Prof. Univ. Dr. Petru L. Curșeu
Petru Curșeu obtained his habilitation at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 2014. His research is eclectic, and tackles a variety of research questions, ranging from more applied topics (dynamics of multiparty collaboration in complex interorganizational settings) to fundamental research questions (emergence of collective cognitive and emotional competencies in groups as socio-cognitive systems), it spans multiple levels of analysis (individual, group, organization and inter-organizational or ecosystem level) and it uses a broad range of research methods, quantitative as well as qualitative. Petru published more than 180 papers in peer reviewed journals, of which 150 in journals listed in the ISI Web of Science (110 as corresponding or first author), 28 in A-ranked journals and 7 others in A*-ranked journals in the ABDC list, including journals like Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Human Relations, Journal of Information Technology, Organization Studies, British Journal of Psychology, Studies in Higher Education, Group Decision and Negotiation, British Journal of Social Psychology. The papers published in the journals listed on the ISI WoS attracted more than 2700 citations, yielding an H-index of 31, while the number of citations recorded in Google Scholar is in excess of 7400, yielding an H-index of 46.

Professor Oana Negru-Subțirică
Oana Negru-Subtirica is full professor at the Department of Psychology, Babes-Bolyai University, leading the Self and Identity Development Lab. She received her Habilitation in Psychology in 2018, coordinating PhD students at Babes-Boyai University as part of the Doctoral School “Applied Cognitive Psychology”. She researches how intentionality and agency unfold across the lifespan, looking at identity, motivation, and goals. Her work investigates personal and social factors contributing to self-formation in multiple life domains, with a focus on cultural and digital components. She coordinates large-scale longitudinal and applied studies on identity and personality formation, financed through the European Commission, ERSTE Foundation, Jacobs Foundation, and UEFISCDI. She is an associate editor for Identity and Journal of Research on Adolescence, and consulting editor for European Journal of Personality and Educational Psychology.

Domnul prof.univ.dr. Opre Adrian este profesor universitar la Departamentul de Psihologie al Universității Babeş-Bolyai (UBB), Președinte al Asociației de Științe Cognitive din România și Președinte al Consiliului didactic al UBB.
Domeniile sale de competenţă sunt: psihologia cognitiva, psihologia personalității, consilierea psiho-educațională si psiho-pastorală, aplicații ale științelor cognitive în educație și sănătate mintală.
În perioada 1998-2020 a beneficiat de mai multe stagii de pregătire internațională în domeniul psihologiei cognitive aplicate și al științelor educației. Are o fascinație aparte pentru studiul capacității minții de a procesa informații în mod inconștient, care îi motivează în continuare activitatea. De-a lungul carierei s-a concentrat pe dezvoltarea de extensii ecologice și clinice bazate pe cercetări fundamentale în științele cognitive. Începând din anul 2005 și până astăzi, a fost implicat în calitate de director, coordonator și/sau expert în mai multe proiecte naționale și internaționale de cercetare, respectiv, cercetare-dezvoltare. A publicat peste 100 articole științifice și este autor sau coautor a peste 20 cărți si capitole în volume colective. Începând cu anul 2012, în cadrul laboratorului de psihologie cognitivă, unde coordonează și îndrumă doctoranzi și cercetători aspiranți, și-a direcționat resursele pentru a lega cercetarea din științele cognitive de practica educațională și cea a sănătății mintale.

Professor Laura Visu Petra
Professor Laura Visu-Petra is a principal investigator in the Developmental Psychology Lab, her main areas of interest being the typical and atypical development of executive functions, relevant for developing training programs and for improving academic performance. Her current research interests target emotion-cognition interactions in high- anxious children (from early preschoolers until adolescence, with a focus on working memory and cognitive-affective flexibility). Another current research interest relates to the emergence and development of deceptive behavior in relation to the child's socio-cognitive (theory of mind, executive functions) and problematic behavior.

Associate Professor Oana Fodor
Oana Fodor is a member of Work and Organizational Psychology Research Centre (WOPRC), Department of Psychology, FPSE, Babeş-Bolyai University. Her research interests are focused on topics such as the dynamics and performance of organizational teams and multi-team systems, exploring the implications of multiple team membership on individual and team performance, exploring the interplay of cognitive and affective factors in individual and group level decision making processes. Lect. univ. dr. Lavinia Cheie
Lavinia Cheie is a researcher at the Developmental Psychology Lab and a lecturer in typical and atypical developmental psychology, and legal psychology, respectively. Her main research interest regards the way memory and executive functioning are related to nonclinical and clinical anxiety during childhood. Most of her studies so far focused on the relationship between childhood anxiety and retrospective memory (working memory, long term memory, memory biases), the relationship between anxiety and executive functioning and its impact upon children’s academic performance, as well as on the associations between childhood anxiety and prospective memory. Lavinia Damian-Ilea, PhD, works at the Department of Psychology, Babes-Bolyai University and at the Self and Identity Development Laboratory. Her longitudinal research focuses on personal and contextual antecedents of the development of perfectionism in adolescents, as well as on outcomes of perfectionism in different life domains and at different developmental stages. Renata M. Heilman has a PhD in Psychology and works at the Department of Psychology, Babes-Bolyai University. Dr. Heilman’s theoretical and empirical research in Behavioural Sciences explores individual differences in personality traits, emotions, emotion regulation strategies and personal values on various aspects of judgments and decision-making. Facets of the decision-making process that Dr. Heilman has investigated in recent years include situations that involve risk and ambiguity in decision-making, pro-social decisions, inter-temporal choices, gambling and bargaining tasks, as well as susceptibility to framing and other cognitive distortions involved in human decision-making process.

Lucia Ratiu is currently lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Babes-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca and member of the research group in the Work and Organizational Psychology. Her main research interests include the psychological determinants of performance in organizations, interventions for performance with particular interest in understanding the complex interface between individuals and the social organizational context and the role of coaching in promoting work and organizational health and performance at an individual and collective (group) level. My research interests stand at the intersection of educational psychology, developmental psychology and health psychology. I am mainly interested in investigating the relationship between social-emotional competencies, attachment and children’s risk for psychopathology. Furthermore, I am focused on applied research activities from developing assessment measures for evaluating children’s mental health status to designing and evaluating the effectiveness of prevention programs intended to reduce risk for emotional and behavioral problems in children and young adults.
