Raluca Szekely, Phd
Raluca D. Szekely-Copîndean is a research scientist in Psychology (assistant professor level equivalent) at the Department of Social and Human Research, Romanian Academy, Cluj-Napoca Branch. She researches moral cognition and behaviour in both adult and developmental samples, with a focus on the role of affective processes (e.g., emotional arousal and valence, empathy), as well as person perception (e.g., moral character judgments). She is also a researcher - data scientist at the “Dr. Gheorghe Preda” Clinical Psychiatric Hospital in Sibiu, working with neurophysiological data. She teaches psychophysiological methods (electrodermal recordings, electrocardiography, electroencephalography) at the Forensic Psychology Master’s program at Babeș-Bolyai University. Raluca is devoted to metascience and reproducibility, and a member of the Psychological Science Accelerator, and is currently working on mass replication and reproducibility projects.
