The Doctoral School Applied Cognitive Psychology aims to train researchers in the field of cognitive psychology, cognitive science and related applied fields, including those related to development, justice, health, education and organizational environment. The skills that this program targets are essential for fundamental and applied research activity in these fields, and the quality standards implemented in training and evaluation in the Doctoral School ensure the competitiveness of Ph.D. graduates on the job market both in Romania, and at the international level. The most important topics include (but are not limited to): emotion and cognition – mechanisms, assessment, applications; cognitive and emotional development in childhood and adolescence, typical and atypical; personality; organizational decision; risk and resilience in health.
